At Grand Bay Preparatory Academy, we proudly use the Experience Curriculum by Mother Goose Time — a research-based early learning program that supports the whole child through play-based exploration and engaging, hands-on learning.

We began using this curriculum at the start of the 2024 school year as part of our commitment to providing high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction for every child in our care. Experience Curriculum weaves 33 essential skills into fun games and projects that nurture growth across all developmental domains — social-emotional, physical, language, cognitive, and creative — while building the foundational skills needed for kindergarten and lifelong learning.

Each month introduces a new theme that sparks curiosity and engages young learners through music, storytelling, art, science, sensory play, and early math concepts. The curriculum is aligned with NAEYC, Head Start, and Common Core guidelines, as well as individual state developmental standards, ensuring your child receives a strong, research-backed foundation for success.

Experience Curriculum also includes built-in assessment tools that help our teachers monitor progress and tailor instruction to meet each child’s individual needs. Whether it’s dramatic play, sensory exploration, or guided group activities, our students benefit from a rich, joyful environment that promotes independence, confidence, and discoveryevery day.
